I've got a remote starter that I took the case apart to inspect the antenna wire and noticed that it has a LM2904 chip and what looks like a dial that I assume I can adjust power levels of the receiver in the remote starter? Maybe someone could clarify?

It is a 265B unit. posted_image

More likely to be a frequency adjuster, DON'T TOUCH it!

-------------
Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Howie is probably right but I still think you should turn it up!

Howie is correct. It's to adjust frequency.
