My car is 2016 Subaru Legacy. I had the MaxIt FT-7000AS with RF-P2W902-SS and EZGO installed. The 2 things I don't like about the system is #1.When I remote start the car and walk up to it the Ezgo will not unlock the doors automatically. I have to press a button to unlock the doors. #2 is even more annoying. If I use the button that is on factory key to unlock the doors the alarm goes off when I open the door. Is this the way the system is supposed to work? What if I go away and the Compustar remote stops working. I could use the button on the factory key but then the alarm go off. That's not good. Any suggestions? Thank You

Did you install the system yourself? If not i would take the vehicle back to the installation facility and have them correct that as there is a way to have the EZGO unlock and lock. As for the factory keyfob setting off the alarm, that is because the Compustart is not monitoring the OEM keyless signal. I haven't done that specific vehicle so I can not say if the compustar will do that or not. I assume that was the reasoning for the EZGO in the first place.
