Just replaced my car battery and now my remote starter stop working.
I have a prostart CT-3471 TW on a honda civic (manual transmission)
I was able to get my lock and unlock button working again by
getting into the program mode
ground the grey wire to the metal
turn the key on and off
press and hold the brake pedal
press lock

however, my start remote button still not working. I have seen other forum indicated you have to start the engine in order to program your remote to work again. Please advice how do I reprogram my start button to work again.

Test the tach wire you tagged using the AC voltage on you DMI and make sure you have the right wire. It should be around 1.3 volts or so but the important thing is that when you press the accelerator it increases. Start by making sure it's right before going further.

Test all the fuses, it might have spiked.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
