I installed a Viper remote start system (no alarm, 4706V) in my 2012 Tacoma this weekend. Everything went smoothly until I realized my dash lights were not lighting up.

When the remote start is active, the dash lights come on as they should. However, when I turn the key on and the truck is running WITHOUT the remote start active, the dash lights do not work. Therefore, no fuse is burning out, and the rheostat is working fine. I looked at my wiring diagram, and couldn't find any wire that says it is connected to the dash light panel (dimmer switch).

Any ideas?
