Hi,

I Recently installed an Avital 4103LX with a DBALL2 module on a 2015 Hyundai ELantra with Key start with immobilizer.

DBALL2 I bought preflashed with 402.HKHT1 v1.09, at least Im told it is.

Remote start works.
Remote unlock works however it remote unlocks all no driver priority even though I set up the DBALL2 to driver priority.
Lock works once, then I have to press unlock before I can press lock again.
Trunk release works but causes doors to unlock, this is a pain especially since i have to unlock before locking cause avital thinks its locked already.

MY question is as follows.

Could my DBALL2 have been flashed with the wrong firmware or is this how this works? I wish DEI would of listed all these bugs where they listed all this would work with this firmware. Im mad right now that I tapped all these wires to have something I think Ill be removing.

At this link is a drawing of how I hooked everything up (properly)

I doubt this could be fixed by a firmware re-flash. Maybe a change in the configuration menu in the db-all itself. Maybe. It's a sad reality that the module will just do some things that may not be ideal for us picky customers (I totally agree with you). The only reliable way around this is to only use the module for immobilizer bypass only and hardwire everything else.

One other question I have is the DBALL2 install diagram showed hooking up 12v+, ign, acc and starter only however i decided to hook up acc 2 as well, this should be ok right?

I ask cause when I use my Avital remote i see the word fuse flash real quick at the trip computer but I assume this is just due to bypassing/interfacing as for a week remote start works lock functions respond defrost works lights and horn honk work.

my only other issue is if i switch the lights off they tuyrn off, if i put them to auto they turn off if i put them to on or parking lights they dstay on even after i walk away with the car locked.

Hooking up accessory 2 shouldn't be a issue. I'm not sure of the "fuse" message, I've never seen it or heard of it. Lastly, if I understand the last question, your explaining proper operation of your headlights. They should be on if the switch is in the on position.

the fuse on flashes too fast for most to notice, it happens during bypass and is normal I have found out.

I went back in disconnected acc2 and am leaving it now. acc2 powers stereo, 12volt acc ports and the clock. better disconnected as when remote start if i forgot stereo on it wont turn on.
