Hi,

I have just installed a Viper 4204V remote starter with Idatalink ABS-ALCA bypass on a 2007 Toyota Matrix XR (Canadian model) automatic.

I have everything installed and working but I do not get a response back from the Viper unit to confirm the car has started.

I do get confirmation back for 'lock', 'un-lock' and to end the start session so I am mystified as to the non-response on start.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Could try pulling the battery out of the remote for 10 minutes then putting it back in. That worked for me when my viper 5706v remote started doing that. Hope that works for you.
