A few years ago another installer I met had a multimeter that could energize circuits. So while he had it hooked up he could turn the wipers on or turn on the blinker or turn on what ever wire he was probing.

I did a few google searches and checked some higher end Multimeter websites and can't seem to find one that does it.

He said he paid $240 for it retail so it wasn't some china junk.

This looks similar but I don't think its the same. I looked at each model on their website.

On second look, it looks like the powerprobe 4 IV is what he had. I think his color was different and it was slightly different.

Anyone had luck with these? We do 99% remote start installs. Nothing else.

Power probes are sold by just about anyone, Snap-On, Mac etc. prices vary, nowadays $240 seems excessive.

For example:-
https://www.tooled-up.com/product/sealey-multi-function-power-scan-automotive-diagnostic-probe-scope-12v/195824/

Works out at $180

Makes sense howie. A lot of companies rebrand so they have their own line. Ordered a power probe. Thanks.
