Hi Im new to this forum I have a 08 Ram 1500 and would like to know exactly all I would need for a viper alarm install with possibly SST or is it worth it installing it, ie: relays and do I need dball2 I was told by audio express I did. Where can I get them.

Another question--
Is it hard to install this?

Thanks any help would be appreciated

The only thing you would really need the DBALL2 for is if our doing a remote start with alarm. But you can use it for convenience features if you are doing a regular alarm without remote start. If you are doing a regular alarm you will need a 451m and some resistors for the door locks and negative parking lights.

Plus diodes to isolate the door triggers unless you just use the dome light wire. The last sentence in my post above plus this was if you are doing a regular alarm without the DBALL2. If you decide to use the DBALL2 with a regular alarm it will take care of all door triggers and door locks but you will still need a resistor for negative parking lights.
