So I'm trying to install remote start on my 09 Ford Mustang and I believe the alarm system is some off brand but functions good I have it hooked up so that the remote will work with the key in the ignition. So I purchased xpresskit pktx system to bypass the factory system ford has. Have it hooked up per instructions, and I don't have the D2D hook up on my alarm system so I just have the ground and wire hooked up. So when I try to program this pktx thing and follow the second step of turning the key to the on/run position the led light just goes solid red and I'm done right there, it won't let me do anything after that. If someone could help me out with this problem, much apricciated. Oh and only thing I couldn't figure out where to plug into was the blue wire I looked at al the hook up on my alarm system and couldn't find anything labeled with status in it.
