Hello everyone, back again. I'm installing a Viper 5906, dball2, and a CHTHD1 t harness. The t harness is suppose to take away a lot of time from the install but I'm not sure what all will need to be connected.
So far I have all the powers and grounds, the horn, auxs, gwr, ignition in/out, and hood switch.
Any suggestions, I'm still researching.

First, here is a link to a Pictorial on that truck :
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=140728

The Pictorial uses different components and is a R/S with Keyless Entry only, no alarm functions, but shows how
easy that truck is to do ( without the extra expense of a T-Harness).

Next, I don't use DB-ALL2's but a review of the install guide leads me to believe that if you use the CHTHD1
T-Harness, you must also go with D2D mode. You should be following the Type 1a diagram on Page 3 if you have the
Revision 7 harness. You should not be using a T-Harness and making the W2W Type 1c connections shown on Page 5.

The only necessary hardwire connections are :
Viper +12V to RAM 1500 +12V ( shown in Pictorial )
Viper Chassis Ground to RAM 1500 Chassis Ground.
Viper Hood Pin input to kit supplied and installed Viper Hood Pin switch.
Viper Pink (+) Ignition Output to DB-ALL2 Pink wire on T-Harness
DB-ALL2 Violet/Green and Violet/Brown to RAM 1500 Parking Light MUX wire ( shown in Pictorial ).
DB0ALL2 Yellow/Black RAP wire to RAM 1500 Door Pin ( shown in Pictorial ).
Plus the T-Harness to the DB-ALL2 and the RAM 1500 ignition node harness.

That's it. No need for the dashed Blue Tach wire as it's handled by the D2D harness just like all the other
supported functions shown on Page 2 of the DB-ALL2 Install Guide. Think I read a post where a professional
installer claimed to see his supervisor do one of these trucks in 12 minutes flat.

I believe that with your installation you only need to connect the two solid Red wires to +12V constant. The other two wires ( RED / Whtie and RED / Black ) can be left un-connected.

All steps followed, but can't access the control center. Remote works for aux, aux/trunk, and panic. No locking/arming and remote start keep saying toggle off but it's connected and in the on position.
