Hello,

I installed a DEI 507m tilt sensor on my truck and fallow the instruction carefully.

*the blue wire is connected to the instant trigger and diode insulated
*the orange wire is connected to ground when armed and also diode insulated
*the red wire gets 12V 1 Amp constant.

about 10 second after arming the alarm, the sensor sets off the alarm.

does anyone have idea what is wrong?

Thanks

Leave out the diode to orange unless it's fulfilling another function.
Two diodes on the blue instant trigger if it's being used, also bands on diodes away from alarm.

Thanks for your replay,
I do have other functions on the AWG wire so i have to leave the diode (bends facing the alarm)
now, you say that i should add another diode on the blue line going from the tilt sensor to the alarm with the bend facing the tilt sensor?

All the bands should face AWAY from the alarm. Diodes are required to separate the signals.
If that blue wire fulfils another function, say trunk trigger, then use a diode. If not no diode required.

There is already diode on the blue wire that goes from the sensor to the alarm (facing away)there is other functions on the blue wire and they all diode insulated....
this is why i cant understand why the tilt sensor sets off the alarm 10 seconds after arming.
