Thank you for replying. Correct me if I am wrong. On the diagram, the defogger wire is BLACK / YELLOW. Should I run the Blue/White "(-) 200mA 2ND STATUS /REAR DEFOGGER OUTPUT" to that wire directly or do I need to connect through a relay?

Thanks
Jimmy

You can not connect blu/wht directly to the grid. You will need a relay.

I would try to find "E16 (not used)" on the underhood fuse block. If you find it, and it is vacant, with the key on, ground E16. The defogger should turn on. Check the grid with a VOM. If this tests OK, run the blu/wht rear defog output directly to E16. Check that the bl/wht wire is programmed to defog output, and not "Status".

In the paragraph above, you would be using the factory defog relay, power source, and fusing. Makes for a clean install with no added components or fuses.

I could not locate the "E16" that you mentioned. Can you please post a picture?
Thanks
