Hi all! It's been a few years since I posted last but I have a new problem. My wife's 04 Honda CR-V has a computer remote start/ keyless entry system installed and just recently the keyless entry doesn't work properly but the remote start works fine. The doors will not lock or unlock and you can hear the module inside clicking away like it's trying to do it. So I thought maybe the wires broke or something so I pulled the module down and looked at the connections and connectors and couldn't see anything obvious. So for the hell of it I thought I would try the remote and all of a sudden the keyless entry was working again. It worked for like 2 days then stopped working again. It does the weirdest things though, it will sometimes unlock all doors but not all the time and when the car is locked manually (cause the lock feature does not work) it will only unlock the drivers door. The brain is the CM7200 with blade al bypass. This system was installed professionally before we bought the car over a year ago and was working totally fine. I should mention we don't have the master keys just the grey valet key only. Earlier tonight I reset the blade module back to factory per what the manual says and programmed it to the car and it does program. I tried the keyless entry and once again only the unlock works but will eventually just stop working after about 30 seconds and the lock just does not work at all. I'm maybe wondering if the blade module itself just isn't working anymore? If anyone as any advice on this I would love to hear it.

Check the connections where they caught the wires in the vehicle. If they used T-taps or scotchlocks remove them and use butt connectors or solder.

Well I did find one joint where they poorly connected 2 wires. It was the data line from the blade module to the keyless entry module of the car. Anyways long story short I did fix that connection and still does the same thing. So I'm kind of thinking it can be one of two things. Either the blade module isn't working properly or the keyless entry module on the car isn't working properly. How can I test the data wire from the blade module to make sure it's actually sending a signal to the keyless entry module to lock and unlock the doors? Cause if I know that is sending the signal all the time then I can narrow my problem down to the keyless entry module.
