I recently purchase a truck that has this system on it. The dealer did not have the remotes for it. Does anyone know which remote I would need and where to get one? Or possibly even a whole new system that I would be able to just unplug this one and plug the new module in with out having to change the wiring?

All these models should use the same remote as the installation Guide covers them all.

AS-2461TW-FM, AS-2471TW-FM, PS-4461TW-FM,
EX-2461TW-FM, NS-2420/2422TW-FM, AS-2462TW-v

You can contact a Autostart dealer in your country and area. If that dosen't work you can fill in all the info that you can and see if thay can help as a last resort at this link:https://www.drdetailshop.com/remoteguide.htm

Autostart is a DEI company and any DEI antenna (that has the same number of wires) and remote may work with your system but can't verify the legality of using a US FCC approved wireless device is legal in Canada. The regulations there are different there, and their is no internal cross between Radio Frequency devices of Autostart and DEI part numbers.

Thanks Lurch. This was installed in Canada some years back. The truck is in Illinois now which makes it difficult for me to track the info for this model. I will check out the website link. I have sent request to AutoStart 3 times for info and not a reply yet.

Wort case scenario if you can.t get a answer on a replacement. Would be to try and replace the antenna and remote(s) with the US licensed units. Which is not guaranteed to work so you would be taking a risk. Other wise you will need to replace the whole unit With a new one of your choice.

How many wires does the antenna have at the brain and are they all in one plug (6PIN) or is there 1 (4 pin) and 2 separate wires on 2 (2 pin) plugs?

If (6PIN) you can use the 6211t/antenna and any of the remotes on this page.https://www.drdetailshop.com/DEI-Super-Code-LE-Responder-Remote-Replacement-Selection.htm or the 7351v/p/x remote if the antenna date code is OK/10D or later.

Or the more expensive but better range the 6711t can be used with any of the remotes on this pagewithhttps://www.drdetailshop.com/DEI-LC3-SST-Responder-Remote-Replacement-Selection.htm
