I have a Viper 4103 keyless/remote start that I installed on my 91 Wrangler about 3ish years ago. Everything was working fine up until about a week or two ago when it started having a weird problem.

When you press any of the functions on the remote, the brain will click, flash lights, etc as if its actually functioning...but it doesn't really do anything. For example, if you press unlock, the lights will flash, the brain will click, but the doors won't actually unlock (tested the actuators with my drill battery and they worked fine). And when you press remote start, it will go through the normal procedures but only run for about a second and shut off, but it won't try to restart.

I can start the car normally, press remote start and remove the key and the car will stay running.

Any ideas on what to check/test/etc? Ideas on what the problem might be? I haven't had a chance to pull everything apart and test, so I wanted to get some ideas on what to check.

Thanks!
