hey guys, just wanted to check with you all. I have a acura mdx and direct-techs/driect wire   says only door lock / unlock wires are in the drivers door panel, just wondering if you know another area where i can get the door lock wires with out taking the door panel off and running wires to the door ?

thanks

Newer vehicles have data bus modules in each door. If you don't want to wire into the door you other option is a convenience bypass for the door locks.

i was wanting to use the fortin bypass and its diagram says to hook up the door locks to the bypass modual i was just hoping there was wires on the inside of the car so i dont have to go through the door boot and into the door

1)Which module?
2)And which door locks the vehicle or the alarm or Remote start lock wires?

the module is the fortin evo-all heres the link to the install guide https://fortin.ca/download/57531/evo-all_ig_reg_bi_hon_mdx-crv_2007-2013_a_57531.pdf

it wants to me wire the door lock and unlock wires from the fortin evo-all bypass to the acura door lock wire found in the drivers door , and i really did not want to take the door apart and fish wire through the door boot and drill/make a hole in the door harness connector the get the wires through. so i was hoping there was lock and unlock wires found inside the car like in the kick panel or bcm but a can't find ant info on that, as direct wire is saying to to the door lock switch found in the door :(

I just looked at the guide. It specifically says "no connection" (actually no connexion") for the door locks on the MDX. Only the crv requires the door lock connections.

So unless the door locks won't work while engine is running you should be .

The simplest things are often over looked.
