Viper 5806v, installed into a 2005 Chevy Colorado. Using Fortin Evo-all Bypass module. System works as it should when disarmed. But while armed, the when activated the remote start sequence actually trips the ignition trigger on the alarm. Thus canceling the remote starter and triggering a full alarm. Could the viper unit be defective? I have never encountered this before.

Got it all sorted out!
Turned out to be an issue with the unit.
