I am installing a Viper 4105V in a 98 K2500 with the 6.5 turbo diesel. Can't locate information regarding the proper diode to use on the wait to start wire. Also, without sounding stupid, which wire from the unit connects to this wire? It has been several years since I have installed.

Thank you for the help!

I don't believe that the Viper 4105V has a Wait to Start wire.  On the 4105 it's strictly a fixed delay timer.  See the Menu 2,
Option 10 programming settings.  Additionally, if you have a BitWriter you can program a more exact delay ( like 8 seconds )
rather than the standard 15, 30 or 45 second delays.

Soldering is fun!
