So I'm running a Viper 5704v and the idatalink module for my 2005 GMC a envoy with the i6 motor. Everything hooked up and working perfect. Over the summer I put a 5.3 out of a 2004 Chevy Silverado with the correct PCM for the 5.3. The VATS has been remover from the new PCM with HPTUNERS. The door locks do not work. I push the button on the remote and the lights will flash on the vehical but the locks don't actuate. Now hit the remote start button and the car starts and runs for about 5 seconds then shuts down, lights flash as if the car has been tampered with. Not sure where to head from here. Should I unwired the pass key feature on the idatalink module? Possible that it's not seeing a tach signal? Not sure never been down this road. The new harness is wired into the factory harness and everything runs and drives great with no CeL.

Thanks in advance

The first thing I'd try is to relearn the tach. You had a 6 cylinder, and now have an 8 cylinder, so it'll be different.
