My 2002 Jeep has a Viper 490 and the dei 530 window rolldown/up....

The windows won't crack or roll down....only when armed..then they go up...all 4 of them...The aux button does nothing...should I reprogram it to channel 4 with the bitwriter? Or Can't the 530 roll up 4 windows?

just reprogram the remote easy do this

1 turn key on to ignition possition or run pos.
second have drivers door open. press and release valet switch 4 times and one more time the fifth time hold it in you will hear the siren beep four times. then press the aux button on the remote once you will get a conformation tone from siren. turn key off test. email me personally if more assistance is needed.

also the 530t is only for two windows up and down if you have two modules in there than this is possible . did you do this install? if not are you sure they used a 530t for all windows up and no down. problem if you use a 530t for four windows in one direction theat what will happen is the window will keep cranking in most cases but if it is hooked up to four windows you may not have that problem . anyways you would need two 530ts in your car for all windows to go up and down. .,..
