2011 Altima
Viper 4706v
DBALL2
THNISS3 rev 3 harness
D2D

Flashed module on Directechs this morning.
Programmed to car, lock and unlock work from Viper. On first test of remote start, car started. Now on remote start, car does not attempt to start, and warning light on dash with the key flashes. I reprgrammed module, lock and unlock still work, but no remote start.

What should I check? This is my wife's car, so I have access to anytime. I have another DBALL2, but I'm not sure that is the problem yet.

Any ideas?

I just spoke with someone via chat at Directechs.

Their instruction was to turn the engine checking to "off" and to set the crank time to 2 seconds.

I inquired as to why the engine checking should be off, and the response was "because of pts, it gives a more consistent start."

Going to try this tonight and see what happens. I will post with updates.

The directions from the good people at DEI solved my issue.

I made the changes they recommended, and the car now starts every time.

I wanted to post this in the event that someone else ran in to a similar issue.
