Having an odd issue with this vehicle. Got me scratching my head.

Installed a Viper 4204, with a DBALL2 in W2W mode. NO OEM remote starter and NO OEM alarm.
As far as a R/S install, couldn't be much simpler.
It's six wires connected to the car. 12 Volts, Ground, HS CAN 1 Low & High, HS CAN 2 Low & High.
Vehicle starts, runs 10 minutes, then shuts down. After 1 minute, it restarts runs for 10 minutes.
I usually set the Vipers to an 18 minute run time.
I tried to set the Viper to a 10 minute run time, but the shut down/restart issue remains.
I have tried to set it up as having a OEM remote start, it starts but no climate control. So switched back to NO OEM remote start.
When set to more than 10 minute run time, when the vehicle shuts down, the DBALL2 is still flashing green as if still doing a remote start.

Has anybody done this vehicle or run into this issue, or have a solution?

I've done a few. Some with a R/S ( Ultra Start, Avital & Compustar ) and some as RSR w/ 3x Lock. I've used both EVO-ALL's and ADS AL-CA's with no issues on runtime. Never tried a DB-ALL2 for that application.

iDatalink notes a 20 minute runtime max on the 2013's but nothing on the later years.

Thanks for the insight Kreg.

I'll get it back to the garage later and try a ADS AL-CA or EVO-ALL.
This is the first DBALL2 I have used, and my first non-successful install. Bummer. posted_image
