Hello all, I'm very new at installing alarms. Long story short Someone gifted me a viper 5305v and i installed it my self. I skipped using all the remote start due to having a 94 civic manual transmission and only installed what i planned on using. The problem is now when the alarm is triggered it does not reset. It gives the 4 chirps every time and the remote shows the door being open and the shock sensor. I did not install the 10 pin heavy gauge connector. Is there something on that connector that needs to be hooked up to have the alarm reset after being triggered? Thank you for you time and advice

The pink wire in the heavy-gauge harness needs to be connected to the vehicle's ignition wire. Otherwise the alarm can't detect when you switch the key on.
