Hello everyone,

I recently wired up a dball2 and a 5706v connected it to the car and the remote start worked great the first time with the pad on off never tried the key or brake.
The next time I turned it on, everything went haywire, the remote start keeps on firing to start the car which caused a lengthy grind on my starter.

So I disconnected the ten pin double checked and now the moment the contacts for the ten pin touches the brain it tries to start up without end.

I have no idea what I did wrong. According to forums I have read it appears others have had this issue and resolved it by switching three wires around for different cars. They did not mention what wires it was.

Here is the wiring diagram

Here is the DBALL Wiring and everything that I hooked up
I would also like to note that I have the RED / white 4 pin from the Dball hooked up to the remote start. I am not sure it was not suppose to be?.

It sounds like the starter relay is stuck on for some reason.

Can you verify that nothing is connected to the violet / YELLOW wire in the 24-pin harness (it didn't get mixed up with the violet/white tach wire, for example)?

Thanks for the reply, I will have to check but I really took my time doing the wiring so I can say so far 98% sure its not.

Hello everyone I thank you for any assistance ahead of time.

I attempted to install my first remote start in my 2000 JGC, this is a dball2 (I have a 3 on hand) and a Viper 5706v.

Multiple problems ensued from the remote start continuously starting to exchanging for a new brain. anyway now...

I hooked up the dball2 and the replacement viper brain.

When I initially connected the dball2 I was under the impression when you turn the key to accessory the dball should have green lit and register. This did not occur it remained red until I cranked the engine then turned green.

The alarm works fine lock/unlock, sirens etc but no remote start.

When I attempt to remote start there is a click sound that happens 8 times. I have no idea what to do.
