how is your ground? did you power up all the 12v wires? there are 4 of them in total, 3 thick and 1 thinner one

Grounds are solid, alarm module ground, dball2 ground and nuetral saftey switch all grounded togther at chassis ground. Less then 1 ohm continuity.

All power wires have battery voltage at alarm connector. So no issues there either.

I think I figured it out, I accidentally touched the orange wire, 500ma ground while locked/anti grind to chassis ground and I think I fried the alarm module, because everything was working before that and now no led, and no reponse from the alarm module.

shorting a "output" wire to ground (the chassis), won't do anything.. giving it 12v is a different story.. try unplugging the unit, and plugging it back in.. (maybe it locked up... common on the autostarts brand. does the Viper brain smell burnt? Also try relearning the remotes.

i did try unplugging it for around 30 mins and plugging it back in with no change. still no LED, not responsive to Valet switch at all. I disassembled the unit and checked the circuit board for any sign of burn marks or burnt smell. did not see anything abnormal, it did have a slight smell to it, very faint, almost like a burnt smell but hard to put my finger on it. the truck still starts fine with the normal key and have no problems with normal operation.

so i ordered a 2nd alarm module, roughly installed it and it worked. disconnected it, routed all the wiring for finish in and plugged everything in and nothing, same as last one. i dont know what the hell is happening.
