Hey all. So I had an interesting thought today and wonder if anyone has tried this. So I just ordered a new Samsung Galaxy S7 phone and it comes with this nifty little USB adapter (allows you to plug in a flash drive or another phone or all kinds of other features) and I am wondering if I plugged my XK loader 2 in or my Fortin flash link updater tool if it would work? My company is mobile and I go to the customer to do my work and thought this would make things easier than dragging my laptop with me and using my hotspot. I know the XK loader 3 can be used with a mobile device but I can't justify buying all kinds of different programming tools when I only do an average of 2 or 3 remote starts a month. Just curious if anyone has tried this and if they have had any success, or if anyone with this phone and adapter wants to give it a try. I will play around with it when I get my phone and update you all if nobody else already knows the answer.

Unfortunately, it won't work. The XKLoader2 and Fortin Flashlink require drivers and software that are not available on Android. The XKLoader3 and the ADS-WLM-AN1 or ADS-WLM-AP1 are the ways to go to do Directed and iDatalink with a smartphone. I know of no way to do Fortin with a smartphone.
