Just installed an Evo-All on a 2012 T4Runner PTS/AUTOMATIC. I like Evo-All because it lets me do the programming without "Dealer" assistance - that's the main reason I didn't go with Compustar. Also got a "2-way" RF KIT AXXESS RFKIT2 ( Fortin 442). Didn't even imagine the 2-way RFKIT will only work in a "ping" mode only , no paging mode: it will NOT notify you when the alarm goes off. It will only get a status update from car , on demand ( when you press a key on the remote). Called support and learned that pager functionality is not available because there is no demand for it, since everyone is going with cell phone-based service ( monthly fees). I would think paging capability is a BASIC functionality for a true 2-way remote!
I am hoping someone can recommend a solution : I understood I will need the Evo-All anyway ( bypass module + remote start) . What options do I have when it comes to pager remotes ( remote beeps when alarm goes off)? I suspect I will need another alarm... Any practical suggestions are appreciated.
