cant figure out why im unable to access the menus on viper5806. valet mode turns on and off, but keep getting manual trans mode with 7 flashes . try to go to menu 3 and it does nothing.

Do you have door trigger ? Prob not

You are correct on the door trigger. Thought I had to connect through a relay. Hooked it directly to the door trigger wire and bingo,problem solved. Thanks for replying.
