I admit I am stumped, I bought a no-name keyless entry from Ebay to install in my old 98 dodge ram 1500. I also bought two 775 relays due to the reverse polarity door locks.
I have searched the internet for hours trying to find answers. The system I bought is very basic and only is a keyless entry. It will do either positive or negative triggering.   The problem I have is there to spice into the factory wiring system? Some people have stated go into the drivers side kick panel to access the orange/purple and the pink/purple wires. Some others say go into the door itself, between the switch and the unlock actuator, while another post has a guy going into the body control module wires under the dash(this is only on the highline model module) which mine is not so that one is ruled out.

so do I go it to the door between the switch and the actuator? will this work to unlock the p/s side too? or do I have to run wires all the way to the other door too?

Or do I go in through the drivers side kick panel to control both sides? My truck has power door locks with out any factory keyless entry and the drivers side switch un locks both doors at the same time which is all I am looking to do.

Thanks for any help

I would tie into the orange/purple and the pink/purple wires in the driver's kick panel. You'll have to cut each one to wire them correctly as shown in this diagram:

This will control all doors.

Yes that works !, Thank you so much I was stumped by other wiring diagrams that showed a completely different way to wire it.

Thank you again!
