Hello fellow Automotive Fans.

I am trying to install a new Viper 3105V security system on my 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT.
https://www.viper.com/car/security/product/3105v/viper-entry-level-1-way-security-system

I have the wiring information from this site.
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/alarmdetail/1857.html
and
https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page1.asp

What I am having issues with is the terminology for the connections and if I should use extra relays and add negative relays.

Areas of effect: Trunk, Door locks and domelight.

From the Viper Installation manual.
Problems that I need help understanding:

Two wires from the main unit: Green (-) Lock, (+) Unlock Output and Blue (-) Lock, (+) Unlock Output.
How can these both be the same thing?
And should I hook them up to Relays like my image?

Trunk Pin Connection: Red/White Wire, Connect to the (-) trunk release relay or other low current device
Trunk release is a Black/Grey (+)12v wire at the switch. So would I then use a Relay here and have it go from a negative to a positive relay?
https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page1.asp

Door Trigger Input (connect to a wire that goes (+)12v when the door is opened. Violet Wire.
I have no idea what if there is even one on this car?

Door Trigger Input (connect to a wire that goes to (-) when the door is opened. Green wire.
This should be a white wire at the drivers door kick panel from the door pin.

Dome Light Supervision Output (Connect to a (-) when the dome light is on. Black/White wire
This can also be connected to the white wire from the door switch.

-------------
I pretty much have no idea whats going on, but I am going to fake it.

On the door lock question. The door lock actuators are really just small doc motors. They need a positive and a negative signal to work.
When wire 1 is pos. And wire 2 is neg, the motor will pulse in one direction. In order for the motor to reverse its position , you reverse the polarity.
Wire 1 will be neg and wire 2 will go positive. This is also how power windows will operate.
If it operates backwards then just swap wires one and two.

For your positive dome light wire you may need a relay as gm. Cars typically switch the negative wire for the dome lights.
