2002 Frontier. Viper 5305v remote start alarm. The two starter wires have been isolated by relays and diodes. Occasionally I have an on going issue. If the truck does not remote start the first time and tries again the starter will still stay engaged sometimes. Also I have noticed that mostly if the doors are locked and alarm is armed everything works perfectly. I have had it twice with the doors un- locked on remote start cause the starter to stay engaged after start. Turn the key to first position and it knocks the starter engagement off. Isolate the ignition wire also with relay or relay and diode? This thing has been a pita. Hate two starter wire vehicles. Never had any of these issues before personally nor my buddy who installs for a living. Thanks in advance.

Have you connected the key sense wire? POS at ignition?

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

It's a factory diagram of the anti-theft system, but you'll see the key switch to the upper right of the first page.

Here's a link to the main page that Ween posted a while back:
