I'm undecided if I should put an aftermarket alarm in my corvette.I have read were it will cause problems with the electrical system of the car.Is this true.

You Have nothing to worry about if you use a computer safe test light and a DMM.
If you need a reference I have some tech notes.

I agree with Tommy. If you retain the OEM security and use an aftermarket system to compliment the OEM system, your Vette is going to be 2 x as secure.
