As this viper 7941v replacement screen? thread topic is closed. I started this new one with the info i have found.

The LCD is soldered and needs to be de-soldered and new re-soldered into place.
The remote uses a 1.46" (1"x1" viewable) 128x128 pixel Solomon Systech SSD1351 with 37-pin Ribbon Connector
Communication protocol is a parallel interface.

Will be ordering a couple of them to fix one dim and one broken screen remote, will post my results when done.

instead of soldering there is a "Hot Bar press method using ACF tape lcd flat joining

these remotes are sure expensive
Display OLED Remote Control Viper 7941V 7944v 7945v for Viper Alarm 5901, 5904

I wonder if they all have an issue reading in daylight? I have a brand new 7944V and its hard to see in the sun. I wonder how or if the 7945V is better. Does anyone have experience?
