On the Chevy 2003 S-10 V-6 Vortec does the pickup truck have a passlock 2 system and if it does what are the colors of the wires to use under the steering wheel for a pass-mod unit.

I am installing a Commando RS-560 with a remote start feature and need to get the correct wires identified on the S-10.

First thing to check is to see if the key says PK3 on it if it does then you need a 555u transponder bypass if not it's passlock. If it is passlock there should be 2 yellow wires. one is the passlock wire that you need to use.
