Astro flex with idatalink bypass module

I have a Honda which I got the Astro start up and running, but the idatalink is not cooperating. I’ve tried many times to reset by the procedures outline in the literature. Go to program. Two flashes, lock in, proceed. It will allow car to fire but won’t stay running.

What might I be missing?

Daughters car. Gave up last weekend but she’s back tomorrow figured it cannot hurt to give it another go. I don’t think I need the link tool.

Any hints appreciated

Might need more info...

What iDatalink bypass module are you using (ADS-TB or ADS AL-CA)?

What firmware is flashed on the iDatalink module?

Did the bypass module successfully program to the Civic as per the install guide?

Is there a Green Key of other secutity light flashing on the instrument panel during a R/S?

What happens if you just inset a working key into the ignition switch (not turned) and try a R/S?

when it tries to start, look at the bypass, is the green light on? if it's not, reset bypass and program for data mode, 1 flash.

But before you do that, slide the key into the ignition, and try a remote start, if it starts and runs, you know for sure it's an IMMO/Key issue, if not you have other problems
