I'm considering purchasing the Compustar CS7900AS remote start and the seller says it will include the "BLADE-AL Module" already programmed for my specific car. I couldn't find much information online, so I'd like to know if the installation process for this product is simple or if I'll need to splice wires and connect relays. Additionally, does this car have a T-harness available for use with this remote start system? thank you in advance for the help

here is the link of of the product https://www./itm/232966305058?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11051.m43.l1123&mkcid=26&ch=osgood&euid=170f202469534f729476ee7dbe5b6ca4&bu=43915149560&osub=-1%7E1&crd=20240114134116&segname=11051

EDIT: will end up getting this instead: https://www./itm/233459944414?hash=item365b4c0bde:g:i4oAAOSwmXteFkLG&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAABAKKYMHoC1YN%2Bv8k4%2Bvi1CNAdC6ITNi6nPe99WrS3LfCBf95tyuG4ybyjWX%2FJAUEeqLNTvfhjpNLyVFeMM%2FRxCX7aBUKie9o%2FxCYz0HZgLG222PdqoYHTksKGws3zGueXHHEcVydhM2OwXVp7aG01A4AtLU32FU8v%2Fzs3614hmJgSEXeAoveO2FDp3S6Ug8MBIWZjt4hveslZ2FBQk8qxBkbMCR%2F8RxpvYh3N8wdXMWm8lLIMABWOepqF7Di%2FL7hpOhSicJEp6sAigcUspCJoI9u4YJHOYabeRn%2BJrX1dA60%2FlB35AcPKRo0QpO4akaAwb4SepxSV7f9LD1KElW1flJw%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR5KY8YGiYw

I wasn't able to get either link to work so this reply might be for naught but...

The Compustar system, CS7900-AS, with the Blade-AL cartridge is a good choice. It is a very solid performer.

There does not appear to be a T-Harness available for this solution although I believe there might have been one. Personally, the CH4 install is so simple with very few vehicle connections I never use a T-Harness.

While you won't need a relay, you will need a 5 Amp fuse and a 1N4001 diode.

Here is a link to the install guide for your proposed install :

A few notes on the Type 2 Install diagram for your install.

Your car does not have MUX Parking Light control so you would use the CM900 thick Green/White (+) Parking Light wire connected to the indicated vehicle wire. You can cut one of the CM900's thick Red (+) 12 volt input wires before the fuse holder and join it to the other thick Red wire with fuse to a good +12V constant source. This leaves you with a fuse holder to use on the thick Green Ignition 1 wire as shown in the diagram. I would solder on a thin wire after the fuse for the run/connection to the vehicle's Ignition wire. Not shown on the Type 2 diagram is the CM900 Black wire Chassis Ground connection, the Hood Pin connection and the optional Horn connection.

The supplier that flashes the Blade-AL should supply the firmware type and version info along with the Install Guide to use document #.

hello for some reason whenever i paste a link it never comes right its an ebay link you can search on ebay with this keyword "Firstech FT-DC3-LC Remote Start System w/ Harness For Dodge 2008-2017" and comes with ADS-THR-CH4 so might go that route and seems like adding Compustar remote and siren can be an easy add on to the DC3

For naught... Different system.

Make sure you let the seller know the vehicle specifics as they must flash the controller with the correct firmware. You can use the included T-Harness and save a few hardwires.

You will need a relay and fuse to support the vehicle (+) Parking Lights. The wiring is shown in the install guide. Here is a link :

This system does not have its' own aftermarket remotes so you will have to use the factory FOBs for a R/S ( 3X Lock). Hopefully you are satisfied with the factory remotes range. The CS7900 system had its own remotes with 3,000 foot range.
