Where would the diodes go? I read other posts and I'm unclear as to what inline means. Also, Someone mentioned that I should not use the same power wire as the alarm. Right now I have my viper 300+ brain powered to a backup battery. Should I wire these two new sensors to 12volts before the backup battery then?

the diodes are to isolate the sensors from each other, instead of just tieing the triggers together use diodes. If negative trigger... connect the cathodes(band side) of the each diode to one of the trigger (from the 2 sensors), connect the anode (other side) together and to the alarm
