i have a viper 300+ and i want to add my horn to my alarm so that when the siren goes off the horn honks! but i've got a (+) output for my siren and i need a (-) for the horn. so does anyone know the diagrams for (reverseing polarity from (+) to (-)! also the diagram for wiring the horn using a relay and a flasher!

thanks!

YES HERE IS THE WAY TO DO IT YOU WILL TAKE THE BROWN WIRE OFF THE BRAIN AND CONNECT THAT TO PIN 86 OF YOUR RELAY NOW YOU WILL CONECT PIN 85 TO GROUND NOW PIN 87 WILL BE NEGATIVE PIN 30 WILL GO TO THE HORNS TRIGGER WIRE.NOW IM ASSUMING YOU HAVE NO SIREN AND YOU JUST WANT TO HONK THE HORN IS THAT CORRECT?WELL IF SO YOU WILL HAVE TO SET THE BRAIN TO PULSE THAT BROWN WIRE AND YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO SET THE BRAIN TO TURN THE CHIRPS OFF.

Hey INTREPID,

The VIPER 300+ can be programmed for horn honk.

1 Open any door.

2 Turn ignition on then off.

3 Within 15 seconds, press and release the valet momentary switch 11 times then press and hold it.  You'll hear 11 chirps.

4 Press button 2 of your remote.  You'll hear two chirps.

5 That's it!

You still need to inverse the polarity though.  posted_image

you will need to do what big dog said but instaed of pressing the valet 11 times press it 2 times and then hold it then press button two on the remote.what this will do is turn your arm and disarm chirps off that way the horn wont honk untill the alarn is triggered

YES THE HORN WILL GO OFF WITH THE WARN AWAY FEATURE THE ONLY CHIRPS THIS WILL TURN OFF WILL BE THE ARM DISARM CHIRPS. A 3 AMP DIODE SHOULD BE FINE FACE THE STRIPE TOWARDS THE TOWARDS THE FLASHER.
