Hello all.

Just installed a Viper 790VX on a car and the remote will just act like a normal remote without the 2 ways comunication.
Does anybody know why the responder remote will not receive anything from the system ? Nothing is sent back from the system to the remote.

Just thorwing this out there but try reprogramming the remote..

This poses a question in my head. How does the remote know which alarm it is suppose to be listening to? If to 790's are in the same parking lot does the proper remote know to only listen to it's proper mate/car?

Well found out that the cable was defective.

The remotes are pre programmed from the factory.

what cable was defective, we seem to have more problems with the 790 than with other viper systems.

floattr how diiferent would that be when you use a standard remote, how does it know which car to operate?

790 has a problem with the remotes... the circuit board cracks when pressing the buttons firmly.. DEI has solved the problem and is now shipping new remotes
