I just installed a Crimestopper 2011RS on a 2002 chevy express van and used a crime stopper bypass for the passlock II. The guy called me up and said the van won't go into overdrive, Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank You Chuck

on late model chevys and gmcs when installing inginestart alrms you gatta make sure all true igntions ae connected properly and when the alarm starts thecar those wires have to work as true ignitions as well as if yu started it with the key. if you forgot t connect the wire for the transmission as a true ignition (thick white wire on ignition harness)the transmition will actup and even get damaged.

In these cars sometimes the second ignition wires will need to be powered up the same as the ignition 1 wires. Some remote starts can be programmed to do this but if not you will need to use relays off the ignition one output to make 2 ignition 1 outputs.
