I had a Clifford RSX3.5 installed in 03 PT Cruiser w/System Sentry.  Everything seems to work OK, BUT if I want to listen to radio with engine off, with key in accessory position, the lights left on warning chime keeps dinging.  It didn't do this before.  It only used to ding if I turned off the engine and opened the door with the headlights on.  I'm debating if I should take it back because it's a pretty nice install and it's a minor problem, but is this an indication of other things wrong?  Maybe just the addition of a diode might be simple fix.  What do you think?

If your alarm has donelight supervision, then disconnect it and that should take care of the problem.

Yes it does have domelite supervision and I see that the dinging goes away when the dome goes completely off.  Further I've noticed that when I start with the key there is a series of 5 dings and 1 ding.  Is there a work-around so I can have both domelite supervision and warning alarms without the meaningless alarms going off?

use an aux output ( from alarm) to power the acc. wire.

that way the key doesnt have to be in the switch, and no binging.

That is just normal because what in fact the alarm is doing is telling your BCM that the door is open and then the BCM turn on the domelight since the door is "opened" by the alarm.  I really do not know how to fix this problem and if there is a fix to this problem.  Sorry I could not help you further.
