any information would greatly be appreciated for my customer concerning their saab 93 for a remote start. unfortunately, i already made the call to d.e.i. for tech support as far the key. it looks like the mercedes laser transponder. the key is all one piece, plastic, and has factory keyless entry built in. it is rather large and will not fit the 555u. (unless you have to take it apart. don't know ,did try) d.e.i. said no info just yet, and cannot be done? thanks in advance.

Here is a wiring diagram for a Saab 2002. DEI DirecTechs doesn't any 2003 or 2004 vehicle on the database. Hopfully, this one would help. Good luck on the installation.

POWER LOCK RED / purple - pin 56 at keyless module
The keyless module is under the driver seat.
POWER UNLOCK blue/brown - pin 33 at keyless module
The keyless module is under the driver seat.
FACTORY ALARM ARM arms with lock
FACTORY ALARM DISARM disarms with unlock
PARKLIGHTS POSITIVE gray/red + headlight switch
Use a relay to isolate the switch side of the parking lights to prevent a feedback into the ignition circuit.
PARKLIGHTS NEGATIVE -
BRAKE purple + brake pedal switch
DOOR PIN - keyless module
The driver door trigger is gray/green in pin 61, front passenger door is BLACK/ green in pin 60, left rear door is BLACK/ green in pin 12, and right rear door is BLACK/ green in pin 36. Use all four wires and diode isolate each.
HOOD PIN RED / white - pin 41 at keyless module
The keyless module is under the driver seat.
TRUNK PIN black - pin 35 at keyless module
The keyless module is under the driver seat.
TACH GREEN/ YELLOW ac ignition coil pack
The coil pack is on the top of the motor under the metal cover.
TRUNK RELEASE GREEN/ blue - release switch
SLIDEDOORS n/a
HORN steering column
To trigger the horns, use a relay to connect the yellow/white and yellow/black wires at the steering column.
