the 555f should be hooked up when all other things are done . before hooking up 555f make sure the car remote starts when the key is left in the ignition cylinder,if it starts go aheads and install the 555f.Remove the steerinmg columm shroud(cover).
run the wire for the pellet up toward the key cylinder leaving the pellet hanging mear the spot you put your key in.
Now take one of the ford keys and turn ignition on wait till security light goes out and remove key now take the second ford key(make sure he brings 2 working keys)and do the same thing now when you take the key out put the pellet next to the key cylinder and remote start if it starts the pellet has learned the code,if it does not start then redo everything stated above. once the pellet has learned the code you are ready to mount it so here it is take it and place it next to the antenna ring(usually a black piece of plastic that surrounds the ignition )try and start if it starts then zip tie it there.if not keep moving it in that area untill it starts (this can be tricky)
well that is about it for the transponder issue good luck.

Also the ford has a gem that will false the door triggers every 20 mins or so so use diodes and you will be able to defeat this.
Here is how to do it find your door trigger wires cut the wire "place a diode inline with band facing door" now place another diode on the side with a band (this one goes on the one that was installed inline) now the side of the diode you just installed will have no band this is the side that will face the door trigger input of the alarm..

If the truck has 2 keys or 100 keys you will need them all to program, or the vechile will never start by rs. Also you can get the door trigger at the headlight switch it is a GREEN/ orange (-) and ithis wire will catch all doors and not false.

you need at least the 2 masters to get programing at all.
every new car comes with these and they will be available ===if more than 2 keys were programed they are made a valet by the onboard computer in the car.
Valets are not used for programing a ford and many other makes of cars.
And while programing the 555F you want the keys not to be on the ring you need them seperate so the onboard comp dont see 2 codes at once.
I have made multiple keys for a ford and still was able to program the 555f with only the original master keys(2)

-thanks a lot installers........
-yeah jworm it comes with manual. yall guys are freakin smart, yall can explain better than the manual, thats why i asked. (am just a dumbass)
-besides, i just want to make sure and to make things go quicker.
-since yall mention about two keys to get the module to learn, unluckily he just got the truck yesterday w/ one key(master)....i guess i have to wait.....
-the dealer said theres no valet key for f150. sounds odd to me. is that true?

-if my buddy go get the key duplicate tomorrow, ill be able to use those 2 keys to learn it?

thanks again ppl

unfortunaletly fords need at least 2 working keys to make a third. see this vehicle has onboard programing which mean you can make a key your self but you would need 2 keys so you have to find a locksmith who has a computer tool it is called a sdd tool this is required if only 1 key is available problem is it aint cheap.
Your last resort if you cannot find a locksmith with an sdd is to go to the dealer and see what they can do but be aware that they will tell you that the computer needs to be changed and they will charge big bucks.
he should make a big deal toi the dealer thaT SOLD HIM THE CAR AND TELL THEM THEY NEED TO GIVE HIM HIS KEYS . HE CANT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THEM.

Another good thing about finding a locksmith with an sdd tool is he can tell you how many keys are programed to the car and you can go to the dealer and ask where those keys are. The dealer should always have given at least 2 keys especially with a ford.

-dang that sounds sux, just call him and he said that he'll pickup the key tomorrow. am assume they have it already.
-i think the ford dealer is lying to him, if they have the keys they would make it for the car long time ago. will have to wait for tmorrow
