Has anybody ever installed and Ungo or Amenity remote start? I found some of these on ebay for a good price. I'm looking for a keyless/RS unit that is inexpensive as a gift. I'm not really looking for a lot of bells and whistles, just reliability. What do you think?

Believe Ungo is a Clarion brand...I know that I've had some issues with their alarms, but that was a few years ago now...hopefully their R/S product is better...

Stick with the companies that put all their R/D into just one thing. Those companies that do it all and sell everything don't have installer's in mind and usually take longer to install.

ive worked with amenity before, they are ok. but i agree that if you stick with a more reputable company you will be happier in the end. you know the old saying "you get what you pay for"
