Hi, Hope one of you knowledgeable guys will help me out. I am fitting a Panther RS alarm to my Toyota Surf. Got most of it done following advice learned from other posts on this forum. On this unit is a wire (blue/orange) marked ground output when running. Can I just attatch this wire to ground ? what is the purpose of this wire ?    Many thanks

John

That wire should be taped off and not used unless you are hooking up an outboard starter kill relay, coded-key bypass, or any other accessory that would need to know when the vehicle is remote started. That would be my best guess. I, too, am not familiar with that alarm.
