Does anyone know where I can purchase a DATA1 aka GMALLDATA interface? I see it briefly mentioned in the forums, but I am unable to locate it on the web.Seems like an excellent solution to an aftermarket alarm/rs install in my 02 Trailblazer. Also it's apparently less expensive than the GMDL1/PLDATA combo?Any info is appreciated (manufacturer, specs, etc)

its available to dealers from Robert Thibert in canada (among other places).  It is the IDEAL solution for your trailblazer install....

Or DEI makes a nice interface for a 02 blazer it will control lock/arm, unlock/disarm, domelight, headlight flash, and will disarm during remote start without unlocking the doors. The part number is a 455G

have not really used the DEI products...I know they make a slick piece for integrating the nightmare doorlocks on mid 90's jeep cherokees...

Thanks for the responses. Reference the 455G, I believe that's equivalent to the GMDL1, and I'd still need to purchase the PLDATA.

Just looking to keep things simple, fewer wires to splice, fewer things to go wrong :) Less expensive is always a welcome bonus :)

I think I found what I'm looking for at autotoys.com. I'll let you know how things go.
