Well here is what happened ,i was doing a trunk pop and well my polarity was wrong so the wire from my relay started to burn when i hit the trunk pop button on the remote.
So i tried the switch in the car and it still worked.
So after i got everything working right i put the car back together and gave it back to the customer,everything was fine- 2 days later he calls and says his domelight wont shut off at all and the door indicator stays on. And his door locks that lock when the car is moving dont work anymore.
So did i burn the gem or something else or do you think it could be a fuse somewhere?

the dome light thing is common in taurus/sable and windstars, one of the door latches is stuck.
It won't autolock because it thinks a door is open.

yeah thanks for the info, but today he called and said that everything was fine and there was no problem so i guess that is what it was. well i guess all is good and ill ceck that switch and see if i can fix it for him.
