Does anyone know offhand if the 97 Grand Prix has 2 ignition wires?  I am just trying to figure out how many relays to pick up for my install on this car.  I also want to hook up the keyless entry and am not sure if it is a 2 wire or 1 wire set up?  It has been quite a while since I installed one of these.

Cheers

Notes:
*1 The tan is located in the drivers kick and catches only the drivers door. The dark/blue is located in the passenger kick panel and catches all other doors, must diode isolate these wires.   *2 The door trigger must be active to allow the factory alarm to arm. *3 Located at a 10 pin plug on the front of the drivers strut tower. There are two dk.green wires there, use the one in the corner of the plug.

Sweet.  Where did you find that info?  As well, I have never heard of having to diode insulate wires, what is this and where can I find directions on how to properly do this?

he gave you a copy of a techsoft data sheet hes probably not supposed to, and diode isolating is pretty common in alarm installs.  if you look on the left hand colum of this web site go right under the section BASICS, youll find a section on diodes.
