I recently purchased a remote starter. Can I install it on a diesel? I have a 1999 Dodge 2500. I printed out a wiring diagram from this site, but I'm not sure if it's for my vehicle. The only selection they have is 1999 Dodge Ram. It doesn't specify for diesel. Does anyone know if there is a difference?

there are a few differences.  first, what unit did you buy?  it needs to be capable of diesel operation.  You'll need to find the "wait to start" wire that keeps the engine from cranking till the glow plugs are hot.  Also, tach on a deisel can be tough to find, as there is no coil.  sometimes an injector will work, sometimes off the alternator....

give us some details on the unit you got and we'll go from there.
