I've just installed the RS114 remote starter and it works great.  One problem.  I've hooked up the door lock relays as instructed for the keyless entry and results on not good.  When I push the lock button, the lights flash 3 times and the interior bell starts to ring.  If I press the lock button again, the lights flash once and the bell stops ringing.

I do not have a factory alarm installed.

Any ideas?

Thanks

prorc

you have to use resistors for that vehicle to get the doors to lock and unlock...go to www.bulldogsecurity.com and find out what value.  i would tell you but for some reason...my computer wont pull that site up..maybe the site is down for now

I have the right wire ( white with Green) and i have the resistors installed as per instructions.  I even double checked the connections.  Is there any othe test I can do to check the relays or the position they should be in?.

Thanks

I have them hooked up as per the diagram from Bulldog Security.  I have a 250 ohm resistor and 1500 ohm resistor. One on each relay.  I made sure that the resistors were on the proper relay.

hey, prorc-  i know that this is entirely off of the subject and i apologize, but who makes the rs114 remote start you installed?  ive got a remote start, rs110, and i can not get any info on it anywhere.  its like its generic, or something.  somebody gave it to me, no manual or anything, just the box and a few bundles of wire.  ive taken it apart and put it back together trying to find some kind of name, but nothin.  anyways, i was just wondering if they were related.  thanks for any info you may have.

The system is from Bulldog Security.  If you go to the website, they have all the wiring diagrams.

hey pro, take a look at this:

https://wiringinstructions.com/217.htm

sounds like they are not hooked up right.
omega makes a DSL(door lock socket)and this is how they wire up using a DSL...you should be able to make heads and tails of everthing using the link i posted.....if not drop a line....WE WILL get this figured out!
